IMPORTANT NOTICE: Our equine services are temporarily unavailable, but we hope to resume soon. In the meantime, please contact Avon Animal Hospital for your equine care needs.
As of December 2, 2014, the province of Nova Scotia (under amendments made to the Animal Protection Act) now requires an exam and a Veterinary Certificate of Health for Cats and Dogs be signed by a veterinarian before the sale of any dog or cat in the province of Nova Scotia. Please print a copy of this form by clicking on the above link and bring it with you to your appointment. To receive the reduced fee for this service, all CURRENT OWNER AND PET INFORMATION SHOULD BE FILLED OUT IN BLUE PEN BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT.
NOTE: The exam cannot be completed, and the veterinarian cannot sign the form until this information is complete. This form is good for 6 months once it has been filled out but is only good for one sale.

If you have questions regarding the form, or you would like to make an appointment to have your dog or cat examined for this purpose, please contact our front desk at 902-543-5602 or send us an email to info@southshorevetservices.ca.
